In the Atlanta area, housing prices have skyrocketed since the pandemic began. Americans have had their fair share of unexpected financial challenges during the pandemic. Despite a year of setbacks, roughly one in three Americans is looking for a new home in 2021, according to a new study from NeighborWorks America, a non-profit organization. The survey highlights the financial obstacles that people face while navigating the 2021 real estate market, and how unequal access to financial resources keeps the dream of homeownership out of reach for people of color and lower-income earners. Would you be interested in speaking with NeighborWorks CEO Marietta Rodriguez about the survey findings? She is available on Thursday, June 24 between 8:00am-12:00pm ET. More information is below.

Tammie Imel,
It’s not just people of color and lower-income earners. I am certainly in the middle class and can’t afford a decent house in North Atlanta, more than 10 miles from my job. Any closer and it would be over $300,000! I tried twice and was outbid both times. Biden has only made matters worse by artificially pumping trillions into the economy with money that has to be paid back to avoid a collapse.
